New Website about Pelvic Radiotherapy

Check out this new website. It has been created and bravely outlines a patients personal harrowing journey through treatments. (Please note that this is a personal viewpoint and does not necessarily reflect our views and opinions).

This lady was, and still is, a frequent contact to our help line, and has decided to use her experiences to hopefully help others who have found themselves left with radiotherapy damage following treatment.

This is a very effective treatment and most people recover very well following it, but some are left with permanent damage - most can adapt and cope well with it, some find it more difficult to do so if this is you, then have a look at this site.

Your damage does not have to be as extreme as that of Mercedes, hers is a rare case, but nevertheless deserves to be heard.

Send her a message via her site too - I am sure that she will appreciate it.

Good luck with the website Mercedes!

CAN YOU HELP......

Pial Ganguli is helping to create a website especially for women who have experienced cervical cancer. She would like to know your story - what happened, how were you diagnosed, how did you feel, what treatments did you have, what were your experiences throughout - she wants to hear both good and bad experiences whether you are newly diagnosed or your experience happened years ago as it is useful to know how you cope now too!

Your details can remain anonymous if you wish. Please email Pial with an outline of your experiences, and she will get back to you:

Thank you - this may help many women.
